This magnificent 10000 square foot lakefront lodge features 180 degree lake and golf course views from nearly every room. It is perfect for multiple family retreats, golf stay, and play or corporate functions. The Lodge can accommodate up to 24 guests with 21 beds, 6 large bedrooms, and 5 spacious bathrooms on three floors.In previous years, the owner's suites of the lodge was occupied by the owners but it is now opened up for everbody who books the lodge, offering a 4 master suite including a living room and kitchen for the lucky couple.
One of the spectacular features of the Lodge is the river rock fireplace in the main-level living room. Another is the cedar tongue and grove cathedral ceilings that complement the living area. Tumbled Italian tile, marble, hardwoods, and carpet are incorporated throughout the well-appointed rooms. There is a massive gourmet kitchen with a Viking Professional 6 burner gas range as well as an oversized Sub Zero refrigerator.
A microwave, convection oven, regular oven with warming drawer, dishwasher, and beverage refrigerator add to the list of appliances. An oversized granite counter that seats 8 along with the large granite island completes this amazing space. The formal dining space is located next to the open kitchen area seating 10. The washer and dryer are located on the main level. The Lodge has central air, all bedrooms are lakefront, walk out to either balcony or to the main deck of the Lodge.
A two-person Jacuzzi tub is located in the master suite in addition to the massive marble or Italian tumbled tile walk-in showers in 3 of the 4 bathrooms.
The wrap around main deck provides a large gas grill, bar-height fire table, , numerous seating areas, patio tables, chairs and umbrellas. The brick paved patio provide guests with a 4 person hot tub and an outdoor basketball hoop. A stainless steel fire pit for a wood-burning campfire as well as a custom-made benches and tables is located at the water front.
A breath taking water feature runs along the side of the Lodge and the lakefront is the perfect spot to fish from or just relax at the lake's edge. For the young or young at heart, the lodge offers a game room area with a pool table, foosball, ping pong table, double shot basketball, air hockey and a full size poker table. An 8-foot bar along with a beverage center with refrigerator completes the interior of the game room.
The Lodge is located on the 18 hole Solitude Links Golf Course (FKA Fore Lakes Golf Club) and is a public golf course. The restaurant Bunkers Burger and BBQ Co. is located at the clubhouse and they also offer a full service bar.
The Lodge is located in Kimball Michigan; 10 minutes from the beaches of Lake Huron and the city of Port Huron as well as the Blue Water Bridges which is the entry way to Canada and it is minutes from shopping, casino's and restaurants. Within 10 minutes from the Lodge are three more great golf courses: Black River Country Club (18 hole public), The Elks Club (18 hole public) and Marysville Golf Course (18 hole public).
Approximately one mile from the Lodge is the KOA Water/Amusement park Sawmill City.
