Blue Water River Walk

The Blue Water River Walk is a nearly one mile stretch of land along the St. Clair River in Port Huron, Michigan. The River Walk begins just south of the mouth of the Black River and continues to the Seaway Terminal. It is less than a mile south of the Blue Water Bridge to Sarnia and the southern end of Lake Huron.

Lakeport State Park

Lying along Lake Huron, Lakeport State Park provides southeast Michigan residents access to the Great Lakes. The park has two distinct units separated by the village of Lakeport. A total of 250 sites are divided between the two campgrounds. All sites have a picnic table, fire circle, electricity, modern toilet/shower buildings along with several pull-through sites and camp pads for ease of leveling campers. Wildlife viewing, swimming and metal detecting activities are available here.

Thomas Edison Depot Museum

Opened on February 11, 2001, the Thomas Edison Depot Museum was the second satellite facility to open as part of the Port Huron Museum. It is housed inside the historic Fort Gratiot train depot built in 1858 by the Grand Trunk Railway, and is the actual depot that Thomas Edison worked out of as a news reporter between 1859 and 1863. Trains connecting here carried people and freight between Port Huron and Detroit, Point Edward/Sarnia (Ontario), and other destinations, linking Port Huron to the rest of the world.

Glacier Pointe Ice Complex

Glacier Pointe Ice Complex is a two sheet facility featuring hockey, figure skating and public skating. Birthday and corporate parties, as well as various group field trips provide enjoyment to many in the Port Huron community. Open skate, drop-in hockey and leagues available. Skate Rental. Fort Gratiot Lighthouse

The oldest operating lighthouse in the Great Lakes established in 1825 and rebuilt in 1829 and 1861, was the first lighthouse on Lake Huron and is the oldest surviving lighthouse in Michigan. It helps keep watch over Lake Huron at the entrance to the St. Clair River. The 86 ft light stands above the lake level in a conical stone tower, overlaid with red brick that has been painted white. The keeper's cottage and fog whistle house are red. Tower climbs and tours are available during business hours, weather permitting. Must wear closed-toe shoes. See the Port Huron Museum website for information on group overnights in the restored Duplex building for 20+ people.The Fort Gratiot Light marks the entrance to the St. Clair River from Lake Huron in the southern portion of Michigan's Thumb.

Hiawatha Horse Park and Entertainment Center

Hiawatha Horse Park & Entertainment Centre offers several amenities appealing to a wide range of interests. Our Sports Park features a driving range with 27 fully automated tees and an expansive grass tee deck. There are 6 beach volleyball courts, 2 baseball diamonds and F1 Go Karting. Hiawatha is the hub of Live Harness Racing for South Western Ontario with live racing every Thursday & Saturday night from May to September. Our full service 800 seat Clubhouse restaurant overlooks the race track and is available for all your dining and entertainment needs. Also on site is the Hitching Post Bar and Reflections Concession Stand to service the simulcast and patio areas. Simulcast viewing is available Thursdays through Saturdays from noon to midnight.
